Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Morris!

Wow, it feels like it has been ages since I've been able to sit down and blog! Life has been so busy so I'll try to give a quick recap of the last few weeks.

On Saturday, January 29th we were able to celebrate the marriage of our good friend Summer to her sweetheart, Mr. Brian Morris. What a beautiful couple they are! They surprised everyone by eloping in Toas, New Mexico on January 1st and then planning a reception at home to celebrate with thier friends and family. Summer and her family did an AMAZING job decorating her parents' home for the festivities - her mom even did all the flowers!

We even got to see some great friends who took part in the celebration!

I've known Diana (center) since high school and Maria (right) who is also Summer's cousin since middle school. And yes, this really was the best picture of us I could find... Maria enjoys making funny faces... apparently.

And here are the newlyweds - Mr & Mrs Morris!

After a delicious dinner, Summer's brothers cleared some tables out of the way to reveal the dancefloor where we then spent the next six or so hours singing, drinking, and dancing the night away!

After dinner the groom and some of his groomsmen unveiled some great props for the instant photo booth that was set up outside. They encouraged thier guests to take pictures then paste them onto a scrapbook page along with thier well wishes as thier guest book.

Here is the ever popular tossing of the bouquet...

What an amazing evening for an amazing couple! We are so excited for Summer and Brian and the beautiful life that they are going to build together!

I've known Summer since 7th grade and I can't think of anyone who deserves such a wonderful husband more then her. She is so sweet and caring and from what I know of Brian, they are a perfect fit! So best wishes to the newlyweds who we can't wait to visit in a few weeks when we are in Austin!
